Paix et tranquillité

Points positifs : Magnifique séjour passé dans la “Tower”. La propriété est superbe et offre une vue imprenable. Le gîte est très bien équipé et très confortable. Merci aux propriétaires pour l’excellent travail et pour nous avoir fait passer un agréable et paisible séjour.

Points positifs : Marc and Lindsay were terrific and flexible hosts (super easy to coordinate for additional breakfast and get recommendations on what to do/see). The gîte was larger than I anticipated and the main bedroom had really nice touches (great shower and bathtub). It was nicely equiped for our family of 3 (quality équipement). The view is stunning, and the pool was larger than I anticipated.

Beautiful views, beautiful accommodation

Points positifs : The owners have put so much thought in to the property and have provided all the elements needed for a great stay. After a warm welcome we checked in to the tower. Compact kitchen is excellent- has everything needed to cook meals even sharp knives. We are traveling for a few months so it was great to visit a farmers market and cook for ourselves for a change. Great shower, nice bath, comfortable bed with lovely sheets and pillows. So quiet and peaceful- and a sweet visit from Hugo the house cat.

Points négatifs : Nothing. Maybe a bit of a challenge to find the driveway to the property.

A beautiful, relaxed property with exceptional views. Every bit as good as it looks in the photos!

Points positifs : Everything about our stay was perfect. We stayed in The Tower which is a unique, historical building renovated to an exceptional standard. The property is surrounded by woodland which gives it a secluded, relaxed feel. Mark and Lindsey were great hosts. Very welcoming of the kids and accomodate anything you may need via WhatsApp. The pool and surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained and the view is simply sublime.

Points négatifs : There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

Einfach traumhaft.

Points positifs : Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einmalig, mit Blick auf die unterhalb im Tal fließende Dordogne. Außerdem ist man mitten in der Natur, so dass es sehr ruhig ist und man Vögel und andere Tiere anstatt Lärm hört. Mark und Lindsey sind sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft selbst ist ein Traum und man fühlt sich wie in eine lange vergangene Zeit zurückversetzt. Die Kinder haben den Pool sehr genossen, so dass wir mehr Zeit dort verbracht haben, als ursprünglich geplant. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, der sicher nicht unser letzter Besuch an diesem besonderen Ort sein dürfte.

Wunderschöner Ort an mit traumhafter Aussicht

Points positifs : Traumhafte Lage im Wald mit einer Wahnsinnsaussicht über die Dordogne. Wunderschöner Pool. Komplette Ausstattung mit Geschirrspüler, Wasserkocher und Waschmaschine. Die Geschirr, Besteck und Küchenutensilien sind vollständig und von guter Qualität. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren zu viert (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) für fünf Tage da und hatten genug Platz. Mark und Lindsey waren immer zur Stelle, wenn man etwas gebraucht hat und fanden den perfekten Mix aus Unterstützung und Diskretion.

Points négatifs : Der zum Gite gehörende Platz zum draussen Essen ist eher knapp und man hat von da leider nur eine eingeschränkte Aussicht. Wir konnten glücklicherweise an zwei Tagen den Essplatz des Table d'Hotes nutzen, weil niemand anderes da war.
